In a formal ceremony held this week, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) marked the official transfer of new service vehicles donated by Türkiye to the General Directorate of Police, showcasing yet another milestone in the deepening partnership between the two nations.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced that Türkiye has provided approximately €40 billion in financial aid to the TRNC in the past two years. This support has been allocated to critical sectors including:

Passenger traffic at the new Ercan Airport has increased by 50%, prompting the installation of modern biometric facial recognition systems—a first for the TRNC. 600 Police Officers Recruited — With 200 More On the Way
